Time to learn about Evaluation, the last step of our learning in the ICT subject. In this class, we use a very fun tool to evaluate: Kahoot. Kahoot is a platform that through quizzes, you can check the knowledge of the students. We use Kahoot to reflect on the evaluative experiences we have had until now in our education and how we have felt about them. After this reflection, we discussed the different forms of evaluation there are, because, of course, there is not only one! Afterwards, we continue to learn about evaluation by putting ourselves in groups to discuss the key competences that exist according to the Spanish Education Law. Finally, we learned another way of evaluating that I personally consider that it is very practical and useful: the rubric. To put our knowledge about it into practice, in groups as well, we designed one that could be used to evaluate our portfolios. You can see my rubric in task 6 :)! In my opinion, this class has been very instructive since we have been able to verify that there are fun ways to evaluate apart from the typical one with the red pen. And I think that innovation in this sense is also important to boost motivation in our future students. I will use rubrics, Kahoots and other apps when I will a teacher. Until the next time!
